In this video MF’s Nick takes on the 10 calorie row and ski erg. Sounds easy enough. It wasn’t.
Today my trainer Pete decided to join me in the workout. We warmed up with a six pull-up ladder. Nothing major. Then we combine a bench-press with a row. So this is 10 reps of a bench press followed by a 10 calorie row for time (use the settings on the Concept 2 to find out how long it takes to burn 10 calories). Try to do this as fast as possible. The best we could manage was 13 seconds (Pete might have sneaked under). Not done yet. Next was working up to our 10-rep max push press followed by a 10 calorie ski-erg. Ouch. Same drill as the row. Nick managed 17 seconds, Pete 16 – but who’s counting. Watch the video to see how we got on – and then see if you can beat us.
