In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro says it’s been a month since he got his new car (2018 BMW M4). It’s a fantastic car, and he absolutely loves it. It’s taken weeks for him to wrap his brain around it. Take a peek! It features a 440 HP with the competition package, carbon fiber, supple leather, and incredible comfort.
The New Car
The car is the most fun he’s ever had driving anything, and it is spectacular. But here’s the weird story about the car. It was time to get a new car, and his accountant gave him recommendations about leasing a company car. He first gave his old car to his mother & step-dad who are on a fixed income with one car.
He wanted a WOW car that he falls in love with, so he went to BMW and saw the M4. After he drove it, he wanted to take it out again. He drove it around three times — that’s the moment he knew he loved this car. He ended up getting the new 2018 via a company lease.
The ‘Oh Crap’ Moment
When he got it home, he thought ‘oh crap!’. He was very uncomfortable about what it represented. For the first 2 weeks, he felt embarrassed as he felt ostentatious, like he was showing off, and like he was bragging. He’s never worked for ‘stuff’. He’s always worked to feel fulfilled. The car has been the 1st thing that he bought himself that was a symbol of success.
He’s a 10 Year Old Infiniti G35
In his soul, he’s a 10 year old Infiniti G35. When he thinks about his old car and what it represented, it was the first thing he bought himself after the bankruptcy and his credit started to recover. He remembers his Toyota Rav4 was falling apart, and how he really wanted this Infiniti G35 & how his wife asked if he needed her to co-sign. He got approved, and the car was a symbol that he was back on his feet & he was going to make it happen.
What He’s Proud Of
At the end of the day, he’s not super proud of the car. He’s proud of the YouTube plaque more — also, his office building, Tiege Hanley, and Pete & Pedro. The car is nice, but it’s been hard to get used to because at the end of the day, it’s a car & Alpha is still the poor kid from Philly. He struggles with success sometimes.
