The other day Alpha got an email from a viewer who hates his job and wants to quit. The viewer doesn’t know what to do or what direction to take. In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro says he’s fortunate because he loves what he does now. He’s had jobs that he’s not liked in the past, and he knows there are many of you who don’t like your jobs and are not inspired.
Alpha’s Advice & Tips
*Start with a plan! Don’t just quit without any plans.
*Figure out why you dislike / hate what you’re doing. Also, are you unhappy with yourself? A job may not solve your problem(s).
*Figure out what would make you happy, feel good, and fulfilled. Identify the good in your current job. Keep in mind, most people aren’t cut out to be entrepreneurs as there’s a whole other level of uncomfortableness. Being your own boss is over-rated. Weathering the financial storm is tough as well, when starting the business. What are you willing to take in terms of being uncomfortable?
*Figure out what’s out there – what jobs are out there, try different things, explore other options, and do it on nights & weekends. You might find out that your current job is not that bad. Even if you find something you can make a living doing that you love, you will have challenges nevertheless.
